GW2Style is a community that was founded about 10 years ago. The Guild Wars 2 community came together, shared their creativity, gave each other feedback, and participated in contests. Sadly, over the years, the website got infested with spambots promoting all kinds of junk. Eventually, its domain was snatched by a domain scalper, and the website was taken offline.

My name is Boyd, but some people know me as Inooid (Inooid.4365) or JustDrawCats (on YouTube and Twitch). I've been playing GW2 since the release of the game and have always loved the old (and sadly retired) GW2Style website. After seeing it slowly deteriorate with spam content and eventually go offline altogether, I felt like it was time for me to revive this project and give it the love it deserves.

Q: Are you the original creator?

No, and I have been unable to contact the original creator, but the GW2 community poured their heart and soul into these looks. They deserve a place to show them off just like the old days.

Q: What is a "historical" look?

Over the years, players have shared a lot of looks that were lost when the old website went offline. Instead of starting from scratch, I tried to recover as many looks from historical records as possible.

However, it would be unfair if those older looks were overshadowing newly created looks, so I've marked all imported looks as Historical and given their owners the ability to claim or delete them.

Q: How do I get my old profile back?

Since the website was rebuilt from scratch, I cannot restore your old login credentials. However, if your historical looks or profile are available, simply select the "Historical" tag on the relevant look or profile and fill out the form.

Q: Where do bugs go?

Q: Can I suggest a feature or contribute?

You can always reach out by email or stop by my Twitch stream. I often do coding streams where I make improvements to the website, so Twitch is probably the easiest place to ask.

In the future, I might add a more streamlined option to request features or a Discord server, but more on that later.
