The God Queen

Some say she is an exile. Others say she is a Djinn bound in the body of a Norn woman. Others yet claim her to be a forgotten god tasked to measure the movements of the world. Ask her who she is. She will tell you that she has wandered the world for as long as she can remember. She does not count the passing years, nor the kingdoms she has left in her wake. Mortals rise from the dust, craft civilizations and leave footprints, only to one day return to the earth. And so she keeps her eyes upon the horizon, with one foot placed after the other keeping her thoughts out of time. This way the world can seem to her immortal.
