Hey, I'm presenting this look for the legendary contest on reddit. https://www.reddit.com/r/GuildWarsDyeJob/comments/40pjre/the_legendary_look_fashion_contest/ Last time I posted this, I didn't do a very good job presenting it, so I'm back with better screenshots and more details this time. Crinitus is a powerful destructive mage. Born in Flame Legion, he served them as an army-breaking spellcaster, heavily guarded at a tower or other vantage point while he lay waste to entire battlefields. But when the Godforged rose to power, he fled Flame Legion, not particularly keen on serving the extremists. He took his partner with him, a mesmer of weak power but great cunning and creativity (http://gw2style.com/look.php?id=10551); the two sought refuge in Lion's Arch. Starting with odd jobs and experimentation, Crinitus learned to imbue items with magic, and use magic to process and forge materials into artifacts. The two charr opened a tiny artificing stand, and gradually grew it over time, now owning quite a sizable building that serves as both their home and store. Though he largely ignored the conflict with Zhaitan, he's taken quite an interest in the battle against Mordremoth, for two primary reasons: gathering leystone in abundance to work with, and protecting the Exalted in their city of gold and magic. He has made arrangements with the Exalted to be able to portal into Tarir whenever the city is under siege by Mordrem, lending his destructive elemental powers to their aid to drive the hostile creatures from the city. Because of his role as a long-range spellcaster, he's accustomed to wearing clothing which doesn't obstruct his motions, neither tight to his body nor covering more fur than is necessary, including forgoing boots. A simple shirt and skirt suffice for Crinitus, as he rarely leaves cities or protected vantage points during battles, so he doesn't need armor for his own protection. The light clothing allows him full range of motion with his stances and gestures. He often goes without the shirt when the weather is sufficiently warm; but the leystone decorations affixed to it help him focus on his spells better. The outfit also serves as the uniform he wears around his artificing shop. As he was a shaman in Flame Legion, he found himself feeling empty without something to worship and serve. It wasn't long before he turned toward other races' belief systems, soon latching onto the human gods. Today, he insists the Six watch over him just the same as anyone else. Whether his prayers are truly answered or not, he's able to wield magic which appears to be holy, in addition to his elemental types. He visits Divinity's Reach on occasion; he considers it to be the central shrine to the Six. Because he is quite a large charr, he does what he can to make himself seem amicable and harmless toward the humans. His outfit's colors help differentiate him from the more rugged charr of the Legions, and the lack of protective armor indicates his trust and harmlessness to them. Of course, he also wears bright purple just because he likes bright purple.
