Always in the Shadow

After leaving the orphanage in Divinitys Reach and finding work at one of the local book carts Mizri happened across a book titled "The Duramond Priory". Bored and with nothing else to do she began to thumb through its pages. Reading on about the archives and artifacts she quickly made her way to the Duramond Hall. There she found a painting called "The Heart of the Priory" and within that painting she found a twisted adventure. Mizri made her way to Lornar's Pass where she was quickly recrutied into the Order. While she hungered for knowledge she was kept in line, forced into the routine of remedial tasks day after day. While muttering to herself about the Elder Dragons she caught the attention of an explorer looking for information on that very subject. She came back down to the library to read the book he had mentioned after everyone had fallen asleep and her hunger for knowledge grew insatiable. After being promoted to explorer Mizri was lucky enough to get a meeting with Ogden Stonehealer himself. Her aid in the recovery of Dwarven artifacts impressed him and he had no problem answering all of her questions regarding the Elder Dragons and their champions. One night while archiving some new material she had found in the Priory basement she stumbled across a book titled " A Treatise on the Shadow of the Dragon". Enthralled with the tales of how the Dragon was infecting the dreams of the newborn she knew she had to make her way to Caledon Forest where the champion was last spotted. While taking necessary supplies for her journey she came across the Dragons archived armor and immediatly began to soak up the power encased within. Finding nothing but an empty garden filled with Oakhearts she decided to ask questions at the Duramond Posting in the Grove. But the local historians did not believe she was one of thier own and dismissed her. Mizri continues on her journey with the knowledge that the Shadow of the Dragon is the champion of Mordremoth. Corrupted by the armor she makes her way into the jungle for answers, and hopefully, the power of the Elder Dragons itself.
