Kaiu "Blacksmith" Kodai

It is well known that the Asura are exceptionally skilled in all art where science, whether abstract or concrete, can be accommodated. Well known are some of the most talented weaponsmiths, scientists, theoreticians and strategists, ... but there are also craftsmen whose names are not so famous, but among the most specializated circles of Tyria, gained a deep respect. Kaiu Kodai is one of those artisans. Before being recruited to the cause against Mordremoth, Kodai occupied his time in the study of metals. He wasn't a theoretician in the most literal sense, but a skilled craftsman who loved metal contact when working with them. Surrounded by tools and ovens, Kodai lost track of time while searching for the hidden secrets of each portion of ore from the hidden mines in northern Frostgorge Sound, or the mysterious veins of Maguuma. Now his work has not changed much, but focuses on something more productive than analytical curiosity. Kodai dedicated their knowledge in metallurgy to find new alloys that help the Pact in their fight against the ancestral dragon. This role involves traveling all over Tyria, which is not particularly annoying for the asura, if it were not for all those creatures who finds along the way, who always seem interested in him at a nutritional level... or just with intention to disturb. Luckily for Kodai, his martial skills are up to the circumstances, especially in fire management.
