In his youth he made a fortune fighting in the Lion's Arch arena. He decided to settle down in a lodge not far north from Hoelbrak. He is a blacksmith. He is a hunter who keeps others fed during the harsh winters. At night he dreams of roaming long forsaken halls in his race's homelands. He can feel that, with the jungle dragon slain by the Pact Commander, the time for his people to march north is nigh. The time to resist treacherous promises of power. To end the deceiver of the weak-willed. To reclaim what was lost. ----- This is my very first attempt at creating a realistic, toned down, NPC-like look. Spent way too much time perfecting the dyes! I think what truly makes the outfit stand out are little details. For example, look at the quiver and specifically how well it aligns with the angle of the back stripe of the chestpiece, as if it was attached to it. I also like how the character's physical appearance is what really ties the look together (the underrepresentation of brown in the upper parts of his armor is in a way nullified by his hair colour). I hope you like what you're seeing! All screens were taken with Reshade on, with the exception of the character select menu screenshot. This lore-friendly look evolved from a really lore-unfriendly Cantha-inspired dragonhunter outfit my guardian had been rocking ever since HoT came out. I was really tired of it. I enclose one screenshot of the old look, maybe some of you will find it interesting to see the progress :D
