When he awoke from his nightmare, he couldn´t recall anything of his journey to the Heart of Maguuma. All his memories of the Grove and his Vigil troup had vanished. Only one desire filled his entire being: burn the world into submission, into Mordremoth´ submission. Where the memories had been, rage and determination now filled him and nurtured his inner flame of destruction. To fulfill his duty, Mordremoth bestowed on him a torch: flames from the mouth of a dragon to turn the jungle into ashes. With this device, Umber was sent into the jungle, to burn Mordremoth´ enemies and spread the flame and destruction over the Pact fleet. Whoever spotted him described him as a beast, not fully Sylvari anymore, but something indescribable that flickered like a flame itself. Wherever he spews his unholy flames, the evil vines of the Jungle Dragon can sprout. Sometimes Umber remembers faces and feelings from the time before his nightmare, but the voice of the Elder Dragon is always able to draw him back into the nothingness and delirium that now is his very own mind. As long as his flames find something to devour, Umber will press forward, until one day he himself might be consumed. Hey guys, Elessar here and I present to you my Condition Ranger! I wanted something to combine flames and the jungle and since he always was a sinister character, I brought in a monsterlike aspect as well. My starting point were the shoulders and gloves, as I really like the vibe the dyes gave off on these pieces; it just feels like a jungle flame to me, unnatural and yet part of nature. Furthermore this mix of green and orange was something I didn´t see around so often, so I wanted to try my luck with it! I just love the Arah mask and boots as they give of this extremely creepy feel, looking like a real monster with them just felt an appropriate addition to this concept. Going full Sylvari armour often doesn´t leave much space for creativity, so I decided to mix in the Strider´s armour. I just like having a medium armour piece that is not a coat and the dyes turned out beautifully on this piece, so I decided to keep it. This was also the first time I was kinda happy that the yellow skintones of the Sylvaries have the underlying green shade, as it fits the whole concept pretty well. As I rarely get to use my legendaries anymore (they tend to not fit the looks I create) I was happy to have a look where Rodgort fits right in! I hope you enjoy the look ^^
