Rekka's journal: The journey to superiority 1.16 Bunch of simpletons! How dare they insult my research! Many years ago our people were forced out of our cities due to the awakening of an elder dragon, or rather, should i say, due to the powerless IDIOCY of our council! If we could only understand the nature of those so called "Destroyers" (mind the originality of the name, and they call ME ignorant) we could've avoided all the nonsense politics with other races. 2.41 I got banished from Rata Sum. The council disliked the minor consequences of one of my experiments. Who cares if i blow up a few progenies who should have volunteered anyway to be my test subjects. Their minds were too young and polluted by the councils teachings to see the wonders of my work. 3.23 I found a cave outside of Rata, barely touched by the destroyers influence. The banishment will clearly help me get my thoughts together since i cannot think of any better name than "destroyers" at the moment. Must be the influence of those ignorant pests on their golden chairs (note to self: make a golden chair to show an example of my own superiority in the future). The area is swarming with fire elementals, yet their behaviour is'nt hostile. Who knows, maybe we can become friends after im finished with putting them in the test chambers and fill them with nullifiers. 3.89 My last experiment proved more than succesfull! Splicing my own blood with the concentrated essence of the fire elementals ended up with increased fire resistance, along with other enhancements such as infrared sight (forced me to leave the ever-glowing with the lava cave for a few days) and hardened fingers. 3.99 I dont feel so well... think i saw a bookah around one of the corners of the cave... the voice... im hearing some painfully loud voice...i bet this is a sabotage from Rata Sum! I WILL Not give... away... my... resea... 4.01 Well, my head stopped spinning, in fact i am feeling better than ever. Even that voice calling me from under the earth became less than a whisper. Another enhancement showed up in a form of 2 extra body parts on my back. Interesting results! I guess i have now just enough data to show these simpletons in the council that it was a mistake to call me insane! Before i rush to their chambers and burn their silly looking faces to the ash i think i might need to find some volunteers to replicate the process. I've heard the pact is gathering somewhere in the east. Who would notice 1 dissapearance in their ranks? Maybe 2 dissapearances... 5? 10? End of Journal
