Pirate Captain Jack Harnigan

Jack Harnigan was the first character I had ever made for an RPG. Unfortunately certain characteristics (such as his pegleg-crossbow) could not be easily carried over into GW2. Jack Harnigan has always been a man of the seas, spent his early adventuring days saving up to purchase his first ship. Known for his love of food and 'the drink', he carries a basket of cooking supplies on his back. He once caught an enormous swordfish, and had it stuffed and carried it on his back; To symbolize his love of fishing, I gave him the improvised longbow, and shark's tooth sword and axe. He also convinced a barbarian that joined his group that he was the leader, merely because of his hat being the largest, which I also carried over to GW2. Harnigan's Hearties (my personal guild bank) is the name of his crew, and his flag depicts a skeleton drinking ale from a stein. On to his GW2 representation, I knew I wanted Jack to be a norn, as he fit the lifestyle, and I made him a ranger as he used to keep a pet Cockatoo named Squaks. He had been using the Wolf shoulders and gloves for a long time, and when I saw how long the Ornate Guild Jerkin was on him, I knew that was going to be his new look. He also carries the professions he once did, Cooking and Woodworking (Chef and Huntsman)
