Khíone Auríl

Deep within a cave, guarded by powerful plant like creatures, are seeds much like the one the Pale Tree sprouted from. There is no recognition of how this seed came to be in the Far Shiverpeaks nor how it managed to survive. Maybe the Quaggan had something to do with it's existance, they do like to grow various plants. All that is known to Khíone Auríl is that this tree awakened, leading to her exisence. She does not recal seeing any other Sylvari from this tree, and she claim's to have no knowledge of the Dream of Dreams. Did this Tree even have a Dream at all? Looks and personality wise Khíone Auríl is similar to the Sylvari - she is direct, focused and brave, however she is extremely less trusting and feels a great sense of distance. But most importantly she lacks the connection Sylvari have to one another. It was soon discovered that Sylvari can not be corrupted by most Elder Dragons when they are defeated. It was said that this could be the Pale Tree's doing. But this 'immunity' was later influenced by Mordremother, the Elder Dragon of plants and mind. He corrupted the weak willed and minded of Sylvari and transformed them into Mordrem Guard. Khíone Auríl recall's hearing an 'entity' of darkness calling to her into its tangled grips of death and destruction. But it was vaint, parts she could not understand. The Nightmare Court then seeked her out. It is unsure of how many in total were sent by Faolain, but with the threats that roam these lands is was certain they did not survive for long. However, not long after the death of Mordremoth, Khíone Auríl is now starting to hear whispers coming from the northern reaches of the Shiverpeak Mountains. Whsipers she has never heard before, communicating through flashing images. It wants to influence through her, and promises power. She can feel its mental capabilties, much like of Mordremoths but much more powerful, trying to alter her way of thinking. Khíone Auríl has started on her own quest - she wants to meet this 'frozen entity' directly.
