The Rooster´s Croak

Every year she waited for the Rooster to return, her spirit animal and birth sign. This year her wish was finally to come true. Dressed in the robes of Cantha, her homeland, she was finally able to honour the Rooster the way she always hoped to. The Crown Pavillon bathed in red and gold, festive lantern bathing it in warm light....This was what the young ranger remembered from her days back home in Cantha. A familiar feeling filled her stomach with warmth. All those smells of homemade food, riceballs, dumplings, spring rolls.....Her heart filled with joy at the sight of Divinity´s Reach celebrating a Canthan holiday. The Rooster is said to be trustworthy, with a strong sense of timekeeping and responsibility at work and the young ranger could feel these virtues all up in the air. The year of the Rooster would be a great one, she was sure of it. Hey guys! In light of the recent Lunar New Year I wanted to present to you this look that I crafted around the Rooster backpiece! I really tried to incorporate Asian and rooster elements in this look and I think it turned out quite well! ^^ Even though the boots bug a little on the backside I really liked the spurs here and the tiny details of feathers on shoulders, helmet and gloves. I had to make use of a lot of different gold/red/orange dyes so she doesn´t look like a huge red blob > > I hope you like my take on the theme and are not sick and tired of Asian looks yet :P
