Who I am you ask? Let me tell you, foreigner.. My name is Razâar, first Paragon of the serpent clan. Our clan was founded 200 years ago when the forgotten needed to move to the maguuma jungle in order to build the golden city, tarir, which would protect glints scions. Many elonians which were granted protection by the forgotten helped them on their journey and some of them, not all, were chosen to be the guardians of tarir and the scions of glint. You call them "exalted ones". The other elonians went back to Amnoon after successfully establishing a protecting refuge for not only the scions of glint but also other races like Charr, humans or even sylvari. We don't know much about the sylvari down here I should add. Now, when those elonians arrived back home, some of them felt obliged to spread the forgotten's word. Not only in Elona but also in Kryta, Ascalon, even Cantha. At that moment the serpent clan was founded and we outlived the last centuries spreading the creed of our Ancestors. The world is in balance: magic ascends from the sands, earth and water and can be used by many races. But the elder dragons remove the excess magic energy form the world by absorbing it, bringing back balance into the world of Tyria. The balance of the world must be kept at all costs. We must not kill any elder dragon or the world as we know it will fall apart. "The snake which cannot cast its skin has to die.
