Norn Seiðkonur

The Seiðkonur are female shamans in Norse folklore/culture, typically practicing various magic and rituals. Modern Paganism is related to it, and both have close ties to nature, animals and traditional aspects. With the addition of soulbeast added to the ranger class, I couldn't resist this character idea! Runa Kjersti is a Norn ranger, but unlike most her kin, prefers the warmer forests as opposed to the cold, snowy mountains. She spends most of her days hunting and foraging in the woods with her wolf Sköll, only visiting home for tribal meetings and festivities.They have a unique varg bond that allows for more spiritual and metaphysical contact between the two souls, and powerful attacks through this. Runa's eyes glow bright with the spiritual energy from her wolf, shimmering yellow to match his. Her armor is very cultural, with realistic components like fur and leather taken and made from various hunts. It is intentionally "bland" as the coloring scheme represents the flagship colors and dyes of Vikings/Norse, but more washed out and faded after years of combat and scouting. Her face is marked with a bloody red paint, smeared over her eyes and cheek, accentuating the glowing soulbeast yellow. Her bow is hard iron that comes alive when charged with the power of the soulbond between woman and varg. Her unique shamanistic and skin-changing abilities allow for attacks and utilities like hawk's wings, bear claws and wolf's fangs that manifest on her human form. I really hope you enjoy her look! I love all things Norse, so creating this character has been a blast for me. I may update with the Houndskin Mantle if I have the time (been working on legendary crafting for my Christmas look), but for now the normal mantle works fine. Glider is Hawk Wing Glider and the bow is Forged Bow.
