Knight of the Sun

Order of the Sun is group created after the fall of the Sunspears. Their goal is to defeat Joko and lay all the awakend back to rest. Instead of praying to the Kormir which they feel abandoned them they worship the sun that is an everlasting remainder of the cycle of life and death. Members of the order are called Knights of the Sun and they fight to bring light and hope to the dark places and restore the natural cycle of life and death. When the new member is accepted to the order they go through a symbolic ritual similar to a funeral. They say goodbye to their loved ones, give up their names and don a funeral mask which with few exceptions they wear for rest of their life. At that moment their previous life is over and their singular purpose is to fight until all signs of Joko are burned from Elona. If a knight is unable to continue the fight he trains and teaches new members and after their passing their body is burned on the funeral pyre. If they ever succeed in their goal the order will disband and the knights will return back to their lives.
