Sarrus was always kinda different from his mates in Fahrar. Other cubs loved him, despite the fact he never learned to use hammer or explosives, like others do. They loved him for his special (dis)ability. His Sire had branded dust in his blood, but never realized it. From the rise of the Kralkatorrik, many Charrs died or turned into the crystallic monsters. Those Charrs, who survived, may encounter something changed inside of their minds. Not all of them, but few realized that they have some sort of magical abilities. For Charrs, who rather use "technical" way of War, it was difficult to handle the magic. Sarrus was endowed with this unwanted gift too. As he had these magical abilities from his birth, he was able to learn to use them properly. In Fahrar, he was the Master of illusions and portaling. Cubs loved that! But then, darker times came. None of the Legions were able to accept him. When the centurions from High Legions realized, that they have magic-endowed cub in Fahrar, Sarrus's fate was already set. He was expelled from the Fahrar and from the main rooms of the Black Citadel, to the Gladium Quarter under the Citadel. Sarrus soon became bored of the life in the Gladium city. He decided to leave the Black Citadel. Sarrus used his magic to merge Quartz crystals into swords. He set off to explore Tyria on his own, and give a helpful magical paw where needed.
