Puss in BOOTS

"Master Cat, or The Booted Cat" (Italian: Il gatto con gli stivali; French: Le Maître chat ou le Chat botté), commonly known in English as "Puss in Boots", is an Italian and later European literary fairy tale about a anthropomorphic cat who uses trickery and deceit to gain power, wealth, and the hand of a princess in marriage for his penniless and low-born master. _____________________ Plot: After the death of a miller, the eldest son gets the mill, the second a donkey and the third a cat, who is apparently only fit to make gloves out of his fur. However, the tomcat offers help if his new owner lets him make a pair of boots instead, so that he can be seen among the people. That's how it happens. The cat now catches partridges in a bag, leaves them to the king of the country as a gift from his master, the count, and is rewarded with gold. Later the tomcat lets the alleged count bathe "splinter naked" in a lake that the king passes with his daughter on an exit and complains that a thief has stolen his master's clothes. The king has his own clothes fetched and the alleged earl taken with him in the carriage. The tomcat hurries ahead and makes the workers in the fields and woods answer the king's question that the land belonged to the count. Their true master, a mighty sorcerer, the tomcat tempts to demonstrate to him that he could even turn into a little mouse to eat him up and take possession of his castle for the miller's son. _____________________ It's no secret - I'm not a fan of Charr. I created one about 5 years ago, played through a personal story and deleted my Charr again. I don't know anything about armour and so on. So for me it was a real challenge to dress a Charr and today is a premiere :) For my Puss in Boots I chose a Charr girl, because I needed a little cat and also face is rather catty than male Charr. When I chose the class, I wavered between medium and light armor. The decisive factor was finally a Rapier, which I can use with Mesmer with both hands. When I wrote Plot, I noticed that there are different variants in different languages. So I designed my picture story according to German fairy tale variants (in english the Puss in Boots doesn't catch a partridge, but a hare. There is no magician, instead an ogre etc.). I'm amazed that so far nobody came up with the idea to make Charr a Puss in Boots and that no Charr with Swaggering Hat found on GW2Style at all.
